The History of Sunny-Net
In reference to the history of our company, Sunny-net has been providing internet services to the island of Okinawa since 1994, when it was established, and was the only English supporting ISP on the island at the time. We originally had our office located in Ishikawa, then several years later established offices in the Chatan and Kin-cho areas. Our business continued to grow, and at that time decided best to consolidate our offices into one location and focus on supporting the American Community and business, downsizing to our office in Kin-cho.
After a few additional years had past, we established our main office, returning to Chatan-cho, where we felt would better service our customer base.
We are a Japanese LTD registered company, that made some changes required in 1998 by Japanese law that resulted in the ISP designations from a .JP to a .NE.JP. The following information reflects our current status:
